At Amey Plastics, we are passionate about being as sustainable as possible.
While plastic injection moulding is greener than you might imagine, we wanted to take further action.
We are delighted to say that we are working with Pearce Recycling and J&G Environmental to recycle all our waste plastic and cardboard.
We now have a baler on site that is breaking down our surplus cardboard, ready for collection, recycling, and repurposing.

J & G Environmental
A specialist waste management company based in Blandford, J & G Environmental provide expertly managed collection, treatment, disposal, and recycling services to thousands of customers across England and Wales.
Passionate about ethical waste management, a key aspect of their services is the maximisation of re-use of materials and reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill.
“I am very pleased to be working with the Pearce Group and J & G Environmental. Both organisations are leaders in their industries and provide an invaluable service.
Sustainability is a key consideration for us at Amey Plastics, and while the perception may be that the plastics industry isn’t environmentally friendly, there are great strides being made with the development of recycled and biodegradable resins, as well as alternative compound options that contain wood such as bamboo.
We can also used repurposed products such as eggshells and coffee grinds in our compounds.
We’re looking forward to working with Pearce and J & G Environmental, reducing our waste and increasing our sustainability.”
