Having outgrown their long-established Petersfield factory, Hampshire-based plastic moulding and tool making company, Amey Plastics, made the move into a new dedicated 35,000 sq ft factory in Alton, Hampshire, in October 2020.
The factory houses 12 injection moulding machines and plentiful storage space, complemented by airy modern office space. Located off Newman Lane, Alton (not in the industrial estate), it is easily accessible from the A3 and A31 and has private parking on site.
The business has benefited over the last few years from a drive by British manufacturers and brands to bring their supply chains closer to home. This trend has accelerated during the current pandemic. The factory move is one component of Amey Plastic’s expansion; which is further supported by additional recruitment and an extension to working hours and capacity.
Amey Plastics hope to celebrate their new factory with an official opening later in 2021, when Government new guidelines state it is safe to do so. In the meantime, potential customers and partners are welcome to arrange a virtual tour of the new facility.
