3D-printing giant Markforged set to merge


Massachusetts based 3D printing company Markforged, have announced a merger that is set to take them public.


Under the new guise of MKFG, the company will enter the New York Stock Exchange with an estimated transaction value of approximately $2.1 billion. Markforged was worked in a variety of different sectors, including industrial automation, military and defence, aerospace and space exploration and more, and has its products in 10,000 facilities across 70 countries. This news is another indication of the continued growth in the 3D printing world, as the process becomes the go to solution for a wide variety of businesses.
