MANAGEMENT TEAM

Ken began his engineering career at the age of just 15 years old when he embarked on a City & Guilds apprenticeship in tool making. After completing the course, he worked as an in-house toolmaker of a plastics company before setting up his own workshop where he lived in Surrey. In 1980, he went into business with his older brother, Phil, and established a number of successful enterprises, including ‘Scotlamp Lighting Ltd’ which was formed in 1987 and sold in 2010.

Whether it be starting a new project from concept, or consulting on existing designs and tools, Ken carries out all the technical design work using the latest 3D technology, SLA modelling and 3D printing for the clients of Amey Plastics.

Lee joined Amey Plastics in February 2020 as Sales Manager and also works closely with Ken on the business development side of the company. In 2021, Lee took up the role of Operations Manager.

 

Lee has 30 years experience in manufacturing and supplying plastic injection mouldings to a wide variety of market sectors including medical, safety, automotive and electronics to both UK and international customers.
